I would need to add another heading near to my image at the bottom right of the second page; and a pull quote in the space between two paragraphs. I would also need to fix up the font of my magazine page layout because at the moment the image is blocking the rest of it. I would also have to add a arrow from the font to the image next to it.



This is my page layout so far in Indesign. What I have done so far is i made 3 collumns on each page and impoted some images to show the demographic and to make it look as a professional magazine. I inserted text in to each collumn and a font. I also used the text 'Ask the expert' in a stylish writing in pink which shows the demographic and matches with the colours in the magazine.

Mariah Carey Front Cover for a Magazine

To create this front cover i used various tools. At first when i choose this image i masked it and used the brush tool to neaten up image a bit more. I then used colour fill for the colour of the magaine background which is a golden brown colour to match what the image is wearing, and also her hair colour and also the colour of the font which is brown colour to also make it stand out as the font is also very important. However i used diffrent type of text to create a more intresting look to the magazine, and for the image name which is Mariah Carey i used a texas style text to match the theme of the magazine and what she is wearing which a cowboy hat. Although i used complementry colours for the important headings such as "Clothes you'll love" and "Perfect haircut in 30 minutes" to make the reader know that is the most important stories in the magazine. I also used a barcode from Google images to finish with the professional clean look.

Rhianna Cover

To desighn this cover i had to use photoshop where i masked the image of Rhianna and changed the colour to black and white to create much of a intresting look to the magazine. I then used colour fill which was a dark blue and then created a huge font in white. I have also used the text tool for the Rhianna and Chris Brown text in black to help make it stand out as it is important. Lastly i used a barcode on my magazine from Google images to create more of a proffessional look.
